Biography

Life Coach for Women and LGBTQ folks.
Carissa holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Seattle. She began working with a coach at the end of her clinical training and discovered she loved the coaching process. Carissa went on to train with Coach for Life, a spiritually focused program accredited by the International Coach Federation.
Now with over 4 years of coaching under her belt, she knows how to help you achieve your dreams, whether they feel close and do-able, or far away and scary. Simultaneously irreverent and deep, she combines an anti-oppression analysis with a commitment to pleasure and self-expression. Add to the mix strong intuitive abilities and a passion for personal growth and you’ve got one kick-ass life coach.
“I feel such a strong sense of balance and groundedness from Carissa that helps me venture into insecure territory. Plus I find her very warm and affirming, without being enabling in the least.” -E.G., Client
Music and performance are among Carissa’s passions. She leads a weekly hymn-sing for homeless women at a downtown church and can be found singing and playing ukulele in an old-timey girl group called the Rhinestones.
